What does true financial freedom look like?

On this week’s episode of the Next Level Income Show, I had the privilege of sitting down with Chris Miles, known as the Anti-Financial Advisor—and for good reason. Chris doesn’t just talk about breaking free from the traditional financial system—he lived it.

After racking up over $1 million in debt during the 2008 recession, Chris managed to pay it all off without filing for bankruptcy. Even more impressive? He became financially free twice, creating enough passive income to cover his expenses and make work optional.

We talked about why traditional financial planning (think 401(k)s, mutual funds, and “save forever” strategies) just doesn’t work for most people. Chris shares how cash flow, not net worth, is the real path to freedom—and how tools like properly structured whole life insurance and turnkey real estate investing can accelerate your journey.

A few highlights from our conversation:

  • Why most financial advisors aren’t financially free themselves

  • How to use infinite banking to grow and access your wealth tax-free

  • What it means to build a “work optional” lifestyle

  • A moving story about one of Chris’s clients who bought his freedom before he passed away—and left a legacy

Chris’s story is a powerful reminder that freedom isn’t about having millions in a retirement account—it’s about having control of your time and your choices.

If you’re tired of the mainstream financial advice and want to take the red pill like Chris and I did, this episode is a must-listen.
