For most people, a mortgage will be the biggest loan they get in their lives, and it’ll take decades to repay. Popular belief also says that the earlier you pay it off the better. Is that all there is to it? What about optimized financing?
In today’s episode, Chris Larsen, who has been investing in and managing real estate for over 20 years, compares the pros and cons of fifteen year and thirty-year mortgages, why you don’t really own your home, and a couple of ways you can maximize savings you get from low mortgage payments. If you’re a homeowner, thinking about buying a home or property or currently building equity on your home, you gotta see this episode.
Since “retiring” after 18 years in the medical device industry he dedicates his time to helping others become financially independent through education and investment opportunities.
