In today’s episode, Matthew Stibbe tells us about how he sold his first love (his computer game company) in order to land on a career and company that he loves even more.

Matthew is a serial entrepreneur, marketing maven, writer, commercial pilot, and wine enthusiast. He’s a great believer of knowing what you want, continuing to do what you love and do best, and being purposeful in your business.

We invited Matthew for a discussion on experiencing new things and in return using the maximum of our potential. He points out that it’s not just a case of being stuck in a job, it’s being stuck in a mindset.

Matthew emphasizes that we can be skilled in so many aspects yet still want to try new things. Being in a job, career, profession, or having a hobby you’re already good at does not mean it’s what you’re bound to do for the rest of your life.

Christopher Larsen is the founder and Managing Partner of Next-Level Income. Since “retiring” after 18 years in the medical device industry he dedicates his time to helping others become financially independent through education and investment opportunities. While completing his degree in Biomechanical Engineering and M.B.A. in Finance at Virginia Tech, he bought his first single-family rental at age 21.
